Baumer is one of the industrial camera manufacturers with whom Psycle works on a regular basis. Nicolas Delgado talks to us about this partnership, which is developing at a steady pace.
How did this partnership come about and how does it work?
Nicolas Delgado: We were put in touch with a lighting systems manufacturer in 2021.
Very quickly, Baptiste selected a number of industrial cameras from our range and we developed our first projects together. Our relationship is very transparent and fluid; each of us knows where our added value lies, so it’s easy to know who should take the lead on a project. We collaborate a lot in the food and packaging sectors, which are common to both our companies.
Psycle provides full support for the integration of a vision solution.
What does Psycle bring to a manufacturer like Baumer?
ND: Psycle brings us the strength of its AI on complex applications (aspect control, diversity control, presence of foreign bodies) for which customers want autonomy and the possibility of upgrading. Psycle also provides full support for the integration of a vision solution with the automation part, which we do not offer.
This contributes to improving the quality of the results obtained, as does the user-friendliness of the interfaces, which is another of Psycle’s strong points.
What are Psycle’s strengths?
ND: In my opinion, what sets Psycle apart is its professionalism and responsiveness to customer requests. I also appreciate the Psycle team’s curiosity about new technologies.
