Has vision become indispensable in industrial processes?
Sébastien Le Jariel: It is a technology that is increasingly present in our automated systems, and a function that I believe is essential in industrial processes. SLJ: I consider vision to be a profession in its own right, one that is evolving very quickly. Himber Technologies’ job is to design all the mechanical components needed to bring the products under the camera and to provide the appropriate control environment. For analysis, we need a trusted partner who is at the cutting edge of this technology and capable of working with us in the field. That’s what we found in Psycle.
How is the collaboration between your teams going?
SLJ: Very good, and we’re quite proud of that. Baptiste and I have managed to create great synergy between our two teams. Communication is very fluid, which gives us excellent mutual visibility on the progress of a project and any potential sticking points. Once the project is defined, we entrust its implementation to our engineers with complete confidence, and it always goes well.
