At the trade show organized by CTA Technologies, the Psycle teams demonstrated a 3D de-stacking solution under real-world conditions: locating stacked and disordered parts, calculating gripper points, and then guiding the robot, cycle after cycle.
At the heart of the system, a Balluff EMEA 3D camera handles data acquisition. This is a principle we often emphasize: the reliability of detection depends first and foremost on image quality.
The benefits for manufacturers are immediate: more reliable line feeding, reduced manual handling and physically demanding tasks, and integration into existing robotic cells.
Meziane B. and Océane D. represented Psycle, a vision technology partner for manufacturers and specialty machine builders, to discuss these integration challenges.
Thank you to CTA TECHNOLOGIES for organizing this event.
